Let me rephrase my question, can anyone tell me about a music download site that is legal, legitimate.?

i love music. i want to hav emusic on my computer that i can download to my player, then transfer to cd's. i don't have a problem paying for that service, but up to this point, even after giving payment info., i still came up short. all i am asking is about a for real music download site that someone has first hand knowledge of. who ever answered my last question, please don't respond. you insinuated something about me obtaining personal info, or something like that. i am not a crook, nor a thief.
