When did some welsh people try to kill prince of wales?

in 60s prince Charles become prince of wales but some welsh people didn't like it.they wanted to blow up Charles but thank god the bomb blow up before it could kill him but I don't remember when it was.please help me its for a project I am doing on welsh history.
