Should I do it?!? -Unbiased help needed :)?

So, my ex boyfriend keeps telling me that he's moving out soon and needs a "roommate," and doesn't want to move in with any of his friends (who have already offered). So of course he asked me. Towards the beginning of our break up, he told me he'd planned on us getting back together once we finally moved in. We were together for four years, and have been broken up a little over two months...we talk and hang out everyday, and we flirt and occasionally do romantic things. He even recently bought me groceries because I was broke and he said he still takes care of me because he loves me. The only problem seems to be that he's so hot and cold towards me. Sometimes he says he doesn't want to because he's worried it will be weird (insinuating we won't be together), and other times he's really excited to do it. I just don't want to put myself in an awkward position if he really only wants to be just "roommates."..do you think he wants to get back together and it's really going to happen when we move in? or could this have changed in a matter of two months? Am I looking too much into this? any help is appreciated :)
