Why people who despise the US are usually so blindly patriot to the flaws of their own country?

Thanks to "canadiangirl" and others that added me to their private watchlist. I'm appaled to see how intelligent people with important degrees are pervasively seduced by the dominant discourse which feeds in anti American conspiracy theories and false, populace-pamperer reassurance of the greatness of their own countries. Australia, Argentina, Germany, the UK and Canada are no exceptions -I mentioned all these because I lived in each of those, however also because they're all between the American 'friendly' list (clearly merely in the political official stance. We can only GUESS how much worse it gets [and how much "better" they proclaim to be] in countries openly opposed to the US). Currently I live in Canada and this kind of speech is the "daily bread" BIG TIME: How great the country is, how much better than "them" -and yet in each one of those locations I heard the same. In a previous post I was bashed for insinuating that racism was big in the White North, notwithstanding evidence comes from White supremacists (who, like vampires, they turn social and "tolerant" during the day), non White groups (who may be holding the key to keep the social order in the country given the fact that they're carefully screened amongst the best individuals in their country of origin), and those who specialized in the issue and do long term research -e.g. Henry, F., & Tator, C. (2006, 6th ed) The Colour of Democracy: Racism in Canadian Society; Galabuzi, G.E. (2008) Canada's Economic Apartheid: The Social Exclusion of Racialized Minorities in the New Century. I paid attention to answers to my former posting and realized that the same individuals so defensive of Canada are those who tap the most onto conspiracy theories which reject the United States. Realists? Highly intelligent people with very informed opinions of reality? Mental dwarfs? Ideologically weak individuals who can only abide by stereotypes to understand reality? Fanaticism? Envy? Leftists? Extreme Right? I have my conclusion, yet would like to know what the public answers... May share it here in a bit.
