POLL: Why isn't there an updated version of "Jem & The Holograms"?--or perhaps an "adult" version--?

I know there's a Welsh singer called "Jem"--but she's not a cartoon & she doesn't have the "Misfits" plus the original was a marketing bonanza selling dolls among tons of other merchandising .
