To Fundamentalist Evangelical Christians...?

It's just like any other business. It's survival depends on exclusivity. If you have a product that has no real material value, you depend on discounting other products in order for people to buy yours. Jesus camps make tons of money. Think they would make that much money if people knew they would be just as safe if they chose basketball camp or band camp? Same goes for the churches. Moderate churches are failing because people know they won't go to hell if they skip a few sundays or neglect to put anything in the collection plate.
