My mom's IR5 visa expires Aug 14. She arrives in US Aug 15?

My mom has been approved for her green card by U.S embassy overseas. Her IR5 visa was issued May 10. Expires Aug 14. Her flight leaves her country Aug 14. She arrives in U.S Aug 15. Does she have that 10 day window of automatic visa validity extension? Or will she be refused entry?
