I've been told i look pretty with make-up on. is this insulting?

you put on make-up to look better. like why would you put on make-up if you didn't think it made you look better? it'd be an absolute waste of time. it's an insult if someone says you look ugly without make up on. but that's not what they said and thus you are foolish <3.
