How to approach parents about getting a dog?

A pitbull may be a bit more of a risk than you want to deal with. They get a bad wrap and if raised properly are great dogs, but fact of the matter of is if they go bad their incredibly powerful, will be hard to stop, and you wont be able to overpower them. A corgi is a great dog, smart, loyal, etc, but they require a lot of exercise both mental and physical. If you can devote 3 walks per day for at least 20-30 mins a walk, plus fetch and some training each day to the dog, as well as 3 days a week of grooming and vacumming the hair, get a corgi.
